上質な時間の提供。緩やかでありながら、緊張感に溢れた演奏。音楽的な難易度は決して低くない。絶妙なアンサンブル。落ち着いて聞ける安定感抜群の音楽。一言でいって素晴らしい作品だ。ピアノはPaul Bley、ベースはSteve Swallowという盤石なトリオ。

おそらく素朴すぎて、彼らが試みている音楽的な難易度は、伝わりにくいかもしれない。きっと「分かりやすさ」はないだろう。（ギリギリポップなので、とっつきやすさは、あるのかもしれない。）私は大好きな音源の１つ。というか歴史的な名盤であると思うのだが、いかがだろう。
